This weekend I finally finished uploading my pictures from our vacations in Nicaragua and I’m ready to share them (first taste of pictures is here). We’re kicking off with part 1, our visit to the beautiful city of Granada, right infront of lake Nicaragua. Granada was one of the first European cities founded in America, and it’s the most touristic city in Nicaragua. With a colonial architecture, it is filled with charming streets and houses… no wonder why I took so many pictures and posted them – I couldn’t leave any behind! Enjoy! =)
In Granada, we had the chance of visiting Hotel Darío, and although we didn’t spend any night in town, we wished we did, for it is lovely. Hotel Dario is an old restored house, with the traditional patio and halls. The wood work is amazing, and so are the various architectural features. An excellent choice if you plan on visiting with good deals (85 dollars per night) considering the type of hotel it is.
¿Verdad que es increíble? ¡Adoro las escaleras y el techo!
Isn’t it amazing? I’m so in love with the stairs and the ceilings!
¡Feliz semana!
I’ll be sharing more pics later on, so don’t forget to check back soon. 😉
Have an excellent week!
