Sometimes we admire the beauty of a space, but we forget to look down. The floor is often equally or even more inspiring than the rest of the place itself, and that is why those who know me know that one the of the things I love to share the most on Instagram are gorgeous floors. I’m constantly amazed by gorgeous patterns and designs, just like it happened on our Christmas trip. So today I’m following up with the thing I promised yesterday: the lovely floors of San Miguel.
Ok, so I must confess something: the last one isn’t San Miguel, but actually a trendy new restaurant in Guadalajara, but I liked it so much and I took it during our vacations, that it had to be in this selection. 🙂 Most of the floors that catch my attention are hydraulic (those that look really vintage), but as you can see, this time there are also pink quarry stone (San Miguel is famous for it). I love them all so much, but if I had to choose, my favorite would be the one in the first photo. I love the pattern, the forms, and the color. Which is yours? (By the way, the second photo is the floor inside the temple of San Miguel, the city’s icon building).
More gorgeous floors on my Instagram, and on this post 😉 Happy Tuesday!
