Un espectacular jardín en Tapalpa

Hola, hola.

Hello! How was your weekend? We had a long one, so we’re just back from a few days at the beack, relaxing, and trying to get ready for the upcoming, short week.

Paisajismo Coyaua | Casa Haus

As I promised last Friday, here’s the second part to the Coyaua project: the gardens. This landscaping project is really amazing, and it’s got me head over heals, especially since I heard the story behind it. Turns out that this place had not a single tree, nor lake 10 years ago. It was actually a very poor land, where nothing could be made. However, it was right beside the lake, and it had the most important thing: it’s owners’ vision, and their will to turn their dream into a reality. Little by little and with lots of effort and commitment, the transformation was made. I really have a hard time trying to picture it as it was, when it is so breathtaking now.

¡Feliz semana!

Isn’t it gorgeous? I love how everything is reflected on the water. The place is serene and makes you feel perfect! The landscape design was made by Carlos Gomez España, who planted each tree, thought of every stone, and designed each lake. This is a truly inspiring place, not only because of its evident beauty, but also because of its motivating story. Amazing how the power to transform spaces and situations we don’t like and turn them into our motor and dreams is right on our hands, don’t you think?

Happy week!
