It’s Friday already! Today I’d like to share with you an amazing wallcovering product which is easily becoming a hot design trend: wall panels. Why is that, you ask? I think these following pictures from Inhabit Living will give you a hint ;)

¿Verdad que son hermosos? Lo mejor de los paneles de Inhabit es que están fabricados con desechos de la caña de azúcar, así que son 100% ecológicos y 100% biodegradables. Se pueden aplicar en cualquier superficie lisa para darle un toque moderno. En combinación con iluminación adecuada, son increíbles ya que la textura se resalta.

No cabe duda de que este último mes me pasó rapidísimo… y así, ya está de vuelta nuestra “quedada” mensual, tocándole el turno al baño. ¿Vienes conmigo?

Time has flown away for me, I can’t believe it’s been a month since our last “Meet you at” post, remember? Today we’re talking about bathrooms, wanna join us?

Mi propuesta, para esta ocasión, un baño rústico muy original y diferente, con detalles industriales (mira las lámparas) y páneles de madera estilo cottage. A pesar de que la disposición de los elementos resulta inusual, creo que es un baño sumamente increíble, especialmente cuando mires la parte de la tina y regadera…

The bathroom I chose is a very original space, with a rustic style plus some industrial and cottage touches here and there. Eventhough the layout is somewhat unusual, I think it is gorgeous (I believe you will too after you see the rest of it)…

¡Me fascina todito! La piedra, la construcción de la tina, los muebles de madera y el techo… me hacen suspirar… Prueba total de que el estilo rústico puede ser algo sumamente lleno de estilo, ¿no te parece?

I love it all! The stone, the tub, the wood, the ceiling… sigh! Rustic and amazing!

Nuevamente otro proyecto de los diseñadores mexicanos Martínez & Sordo, en esta ocasión en Acapulco. Me fascina la decoración que utilizaron, con muebles modernos mezclados con muebles de caracter muy étnico (¿qué tal las mesas laterales en el dormitorio principal?). Hay muchos detalles qué destacar, como las flores, la iluminación, las almohadas y cojines así como los muros azules. Y con esas vistas… ¡qué daría por estar ahí!!!!

Once again we are featuring the amazing work of Mexican firm Martinez & Sordo. This house is in sunny Acapulco, and I’m loving the mix of furniture: modern and ethnic (how about the side tables in the master bedroom?). There are tons of details worth checking, such as the use of flowers, the lighting, pillows and throws, as well as the lovely blue walls. And with those views, there’s nothing I don’t like about it… I wish I was there!

Graffiti de musgo. Eso es lo que hoy descubrí navegando en internet, y quedé impresionada. Qué cosa más bella, letras que viven y crecen. Mejor aún, que lo puedas hacer en casa -o donde quieras- con la receta que te comparto más abajo. Qué buena manera de comenzar la semana, ¿no crees?

Moss graffiti. That’s what I discovered today, surfing the net. Wow. I’m totally in love. This is such a beautiful thing, living and growing fonts. Better yet, to be able to do this at home -or wherever you wish to- with the following recipe. Way to kick off the week, don’t you think?

Receta para graffiti de musgo:

- Musgo

- Yogurt natural o cerveza

-1/2 cucharada de azúcar

-Licuadora

Lava el musgo para retirar tierra de las raíces. Colócalo en la licuadora, agrega el yogurt o cerveza, 1/2 cucharada de azúcar y licúa. La mezcla debe quedar como una especie de licuado líquido.

Vacía a un bote y utiliza brocha para aplicar el licuado como si fuera pintura.

Checa diariamente para rociar agua sobre el diseño, o puedes aplicar más mezcla para ayudar al musgo que crezca. Asegúrate de hacerlo en un muro con sombra.

Moss Graffiti Recipe

-Moss

-Buttermilk or beer

-1/2 tsp. sugar

-Blender

Rinse out soil from moss as much as possible. Put it in blender, add buttermilk / beer, and sugar. Mix.

Put into container, then apply on wall with brush, according to your design.

Every second day, reapply mixture. Spritz design with water on alternative day.

This works best if the wall doesn’t receive much sunlight.

Me pregunto si con esta misma receta se podría lograr esta cabecera tan impresionante :)

I wonder if the recipe would work for a headboard like this one. Most impressive :)

Y llegó el fin de semana! Hoy te quiero compartir uno de mis más recientes descubrimientos: Nap.

The weekend is here! Today I’d like to share with you a recent discovery of mine: Nap.

Nap es una marca mexicana de ropa de cuna y accesorios para bebés. Me encantan sus diseños textiles modernos, me los puedo imaginar perfectamente en un cuarto de bebé (especialmente esos turquesas que me fascinan).

Nap is a Mexican brand of bedding and baby accesories. I love their modern designs; they would look lovely in a baby’s room, don’t you think?  (especially those lovely turquoise tones).

Pero además, me encantan las fotografías de su última colección… me recuerdan un tanto a aquéllas de la tienda de campaña de West Elm, en medio del bosque…

I’m also loving the photography from their latest collection… kinda reminds me of  the West Elm camping campaign, right in the middle of the forest, remember?

También me recuerdan a todas mis amigas que están embarazadas o acaban de tener bebés. =) Pero sobretodo, me parecen las imágenes perfectas para darle la bienvenida al fin de semana… qué ganas de ir al bosque!
